Совещание экспертов CEARAC по оценке эвтрофикации в регионе NOWPAPсостоялась 18 октября 2017 года в Циндао, Китай. На совещании была рассмотрена текущая деятельность CEARAC по пробному применению процедуры скрининга, которая является частью Общей процедуры NOWPAP по оценке эвтрофикации. Участники совещания также обсудили усовершенствование текущего метода оценки и будущий план по оценке прибрежной эвтрофикации.
