The Second Coastal Environmental Assessment Workshop was held on September 11, 2008 in Toyama, Japan. In order to develop a common method of coastal environmental assessment which should be applied in the four NOWPAP Member states, CEARAC conducted a case study at Toyama Bay on the method for a coastal environmental assessment in the 2007-2008 biennium. During the workshop, the developed method for coastal environmental assessment was introduced.
